Reach to Teach has been supported in its work in India entirely by The Larry Ellison Foundation (LEF) since 2007. LEF is the personal philanthropic initiative of Larry Ellison, the co-founder of Oracle Corporation. In 2007, LEF and Reach to Teach entered into a formal agreement where LEF funds all Reach to Teach's work in India. This sustained support has enabled Reach to Teach to scale up its work, where it has moved from being a field-level entity to one organisation actively working alongside the government to bring in qualitative interventions at scale, at a systemic level. LEF continues to support Reach to Teach in its aspiration to enhance qualitative teaching and learning practices by bringing in both local and global learning to children in government primary schools. From initially working in the state of Gujarat, the continued support from LEF has now enabled Reach to Teach to move into other geographies in its effort to become a pan-India organisation.

At Reach to Teach, we believe in providing scalable solutions to advance the quality of teaching and learning outcomes. We work with the Government at a systemic level to drive policy impact at a scalable level. Reach to Teach is registered as a charity in the United Kingdom and works in India as a private limited company, working in different capacities with different stakeholders.

Partnering with
Governments

We set up Technical Support Units/ Project Management Units to:
  • • Design and support creation and rolling out of accreditation and assessment frameworks.
  • • Carry out continuous professional development of teachers and other system actors such as Cluster Resource Coordinators and Block Resource Coordinators and other state officials.
  • • Design end-to-end solutions to improve the quality of teaching and learning outcomes.

Non-Government
Partners

As consultants, we are committed to improving the quality of education across government and private schools. We have expertise in institutionalising systems and frameworks to improve learning outcomes across schools and will seek the support of other entities such as corporate India, HNIs, international agencies and inter-governmental agencies, as we move ahead with our new India-focused strategy.
