Continuous
Professional
Development (CPD)

We work with State Education Departments on the development of a skilled, motivated, and competent workforce. This is accomplished through the assessment of needs and goal-setting and working with system officials to develop plans to deliver on the set goals.
We co-develop and deliver programmes that cover the professional development for headteachers, teachers and other system officials within the education framework like Cluster and Block Resource Coordinators. Our framework is informed by global good practices and incorporates behaviour change frameworks from the Department of Psychological and Behavioural Science at the London School of Economics. Assessment (both formative and summative) is important.
Hence, teachers are trained on how to conduct accurate and comprehensive assessments and to use the assessment information to adjust instructions and plan for remediation programmes. Working with the state, Reach to Teach's interventions help schools in developing improvement plans with a clear focus on outcomes. It helps schools and state-level officials, monitor the delivery of outcomes as well as the impact of improvement plans.
